Upper Rogue

On another run to Southern Oregon I was able to take a few more shots of the upper part of the Rogue River around Prospect. The pix named "Avenue of Giant Boulders (1-5)" were taken just north of Mill Creek Falls. Since the sun wasn't out yet, it made it easier to expose correctly over the entire scene. Also, be sure to check out the three new pix named "Agate Lake Sunrise (1-3), as well as "Upper Rogue 4" in the Oregon Scenics gallery. You can see the water level is much higher in "Upper Rogue 4" (spring) than the other "Upper Rogue" pix (late fall).

New Rogue Reflections Pics and Southwest Scenics Gallery

On a quick run to Southern Oregon I was able to snag a few shots of the upper part of the Rogue River around Prospect. As you can see, it was a beautiful morning and the reflections made for some great pics. Cloud reflections make a big difference in the sky scenes. New Eagles Gallery & Additions to the Nature Gallery

I was able to snag a few good shots of eagles and great blue herons in the Puget Sound area in the last couple of days between the rain showers. We recently returned from our travels to the American Southwest where we ventured through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and California. We visited Shoshone Falls, Arches National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Monument Valley, Navajo National Monument, the Colorado River, Antelope Slot Canyon, Zion Nation Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Parowan Petroglyphs, and more.
